NBSC conducts TLA Design Thinking Summit
Manolo Fortich Bukidnon – In order to develop effective, efficient, and proactive leaders, the Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) conducted the Transformational Leaders Academy (TLA) Design Thinking Summit on November 3, 2022 at the Chali Beach Resort and Conference Center, Cagayan de Oro City. The activity was participated by the NBSC administrators including the different department heads and unit directors.
The training program allowed the leaders to design and present solutions to current challenges in their workplace by using the framework of Design Thinking.
The invited panelists were, Dr. Maria Elena L. Paulma, the Vice President for Academic Affairs of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines; Dr. Hercules R. Cascon, Dean of the College of Engineering of Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan; Dr. Edralin C. Manla, Dean of the School of Education of Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan; and Hon. Alfonso P. Alamban, CESO IV, former Regional Director of the Department of Science and Technology X.
The TLA is a leadership training spearheaded by Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, the NBSC Vice President for Academic Affairs, designed to develop leaders to rediscover themselves, connect with others, and make a significant impact to society.
